Understanding and using the AR mobile app
AMS Optics Augmented Reality (AR) improves field worker productivity by enabling collaboration with remote subject-matter experts, easily locating and navigating to assets, and providing immediate access to IoT data and analytics.
This chapter contains topics that explain how to:
- Log into the AR mobile app
- Search for a landmark or asset
- Get directions to a landmark or asset
- Create a new AR scene
- Search for an AR node
- Create a remote assistance session, that enables you to also do
the following:
- Provide or request support by initiating a peer-to-peer support session with another user
- Initiate a chat session where the you can send and receive messages to another user who can be an expert offering support
- Send AR-annotated videos and step-by step instructions
- Receive and execute a Digital Procedure
- Use a knowledge database, a dedicated library to capture and store practical knowledge created during the service process
