Search for a plant location, landmark, or node

The Overview tab contains a Search field, a Hierarchy list, and a map. You can use the Search field and Hierarchy list to locate landmarks and AR nodes that are associated with existing plant locations. The following list provides some guidance on how to effectively find a landmark or AR node.
  • You use the Search field to filter and display the plants, landmarks, and nodes in the Hierarchy list in accordance to text that you type into the field. As you enter text, the list of plants, landmarks, and nodes changes to show only those items that match the text that you enter.
  • To update the map and have it center on a plant, landmark, or node, you must click one of the items within the Hierarchy list. Typing in the Search field only filters the results in the Hierarchy and does not have an effect on the map or how it updates.
  • Plants in the Hierarchy are listed in alphabetical order.
  • When you log into the AR web portal, the map on the Overview tab page centers on your current physical location. If you log in remotely, it is possible that no landmarks appear on the map. Whether you see any landmarks when you log in is determined by how far away you physically are from a plant, and the magnification-level of the map. To see a larger area of the map, click the zoom-out (minus) icon on the map.
  • When zooming in and out of the map, use the plus "+" and minus "-" icons on the map to keep the map centered on the plant, landmark, or node.
  • When you hover over or click on a landmark marker or an AR node marker, a pop-up appears that provides the landmark or node name, a description, and the health of the landmark or node. If no health information is available for the landmark or node the color of the health boxes are gray.

The map updates according to your selection. If you select:
    • A plant, the map centers on the plant location.

If you click on the Landmark name in the dialog, the Landmarks tab page appears with additional information about that landmark.
    • An AR node, the map centers on the node location. When you hover the cursor over the node flag marker or click on the node flag marker a dialog appears that contains the name and description of the node and a health indicator of the asset. If you click on the node name in the dialog, the Nodes tab page appears with additional information about the node.
